1. Rental Period

• The rental period is calculated on a 24-hour basis.
• A grace period of 59 minutes is allowed for vehicle return.
• Exceeding the grace period will result in an additional day’s rental charge.

2. Age Requirements

• The renter must be at least 22 years old to rent a vehicle.
• For certain luxury or high-performance vehicles, a minimum age of 25 years may be required.

3. Required Documents

All renters must provide:

• A valid driver’s license (issued at least 1 year before the rental date).
• A passport copy with a valid visa page (for non-residents).
• A UAE Emirates ID (for residents).
• A credit card in the primary driver’s name for security deposit purposes.

For international visitors, an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required based on UAE regulations.

4. Insurance & Liability

• All rentals include basic insurance coverage as per UAE law.
• In the event of an accident, the renter is responsible for a deductible charge unless additional insurance coverage is purchased.
• Optional insurance plans include:
  
  • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Reduces liability for damage to the rental car.
  • Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): Covers medical expenses for the driver and passengers.
  • Theft Protection: Reduces liability in case of vehicle theft.

5. Use of Vehicle

The renter agrees to NOT use the rental vehicle for:

• Off-road driving, desert safaris, or racing.
• Transporting illegal goods or hazardous materials.
• Towing, pushing, or carrying heavy loads.
• Any activity that violates UAE traffic laws.

Failure to comply may result in immediate contract termination and penalties.

6. Fuel & Mileage Policy

• The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the time of pickup.
• If the fuel level is lower, the renter will be charged for refueling at market rates plus a service fee.
• Mileage Limits:
  
  • Standard rentals include a daily mileage limit (varies by vehicle).
  • Additional mileage is charged at a per-kilometer rate.

7. Fines & Traffic Violations

• The renter is fully responsible for any traffic fines, parking violations, or toll charges incurred during the rental period.
• Salik (toll) charges will be deducted from the security deposit or billed separately.

8. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit is required at the time of rental.
• The deposit is held for up to 21 days after vehicle return to cover any damages, fines, or additional charges.

9. Delivery & Pickup

• Free vehicle delivery and pickup is available within specific areas in Dubai.
• Additional charges apply for deliveries outside standard service areas.

10. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations made 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.
• Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of one day’s rental.
• No-shows without prior notice are non-refundable.

11. Breakdown & Roadside Assistance

• In case of a mechanical breakdown, free roadside assistance is available 24/7.
• If the breakdown is due to renter negligence (e.g., lost keys, flat battery due to lights left on), service charges may apply.

12. Extension & Early Return

• Rental extensions must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.
• Returning the vehicle early does not guarantee a refund for unused days.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by UAE laws, and any disputes will be resolved under Dubai jurisdiction.
