These Pre-Paid Terms and Conditions outline the policies related to prepaid car rental bookings at Al Attar Car Rental. By making a prepaid reservation, you agree to comply with these terms.


1. General Pre-Payment Terms

  • Prepaid bookings require full payment at the time of reservation.
  • Payments can be made via credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
  • The name on the payment method must match the renter’s name.

2. Reservation Confirmation

  • A successful prepaid booking guarantees a vehicle of the selected category, but specific models are subject to availability.
  • An email confirmation will be sent upon successful payment.

3. Modifications & Changes

3.1 Date & Time Changes

  • More than 24 hours before pickup:
    • Free modifications, subject to availability.
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup:
    • Modification may incur additional charges.

3.2 Vehicle Category Upgrade/Downgrade

  • Upgrades can be requested at the rental desk (extra charges may apply).
  • Downgrading to a lower category will not result in a partial refund.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations

  • More than 48 hours before pickup:
    • Full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
  • 24 to 48 hours before pickup:
    • Refund with a one-day rental charge deduction.
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup:
    • No refund will be provided.

4.2 No-Show Policy

  • If the customer fails to collect the vehicle within 3 hours of the scheduled pickup time, the booking will be marked as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

4.3 Cancellation by Al Attar Car Rental

  • If we need to cancel the booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer:
    • A full refund, or
    • A similar or upgraded vehicle at no extra charge.

5. Early Returns & Unused Rental Days

  • No refunds or credits will be issued for early returns or unused rental days.
  • Prepaid rentals cannot be transferred to another person.

6. Late Pick-Up & No-Show Policy

  • Vehicles will be held for 3 hours from the pickup time.
  • After 3 hours, the reservation will be automatically canceled without a refund.
  • If you anticipate a delay, contact customer service to request an extension.

7. Security Deposit & Additional Charges

  • A refundable security deposit is required at the time of pickup.
  • The deposit will be refunded within 21 days after checking for:
    • Traffic fines
    • Toll charges (Salik)
    • Fuel refill fees
    • Damage costs (if applicable)

8. Required Documents at Pickup

Customers must present the following at the time of rental:
✔ A valid driving license (International Permit if required)
✔ A passport or Emirates ID (for identity verification)
✔ The credit/debit card used for payment

Failure to present these documents may result in denied vehicle pickup without a refund.


9. Additional Terms

  • Insurance Coverage: Basic insurance is included; additional coverage can be purchased.
  • Fuel Policy: Cars must be returned with the same fuel level as received, or refueling charges will apply.
  • Mileage Limits: Some vehicles may have mileage restrictions, with extra charges for exceeding limits.
